Pharmacological Class
This medicine is a combination of two antibiotics : The sulfamethoxazolein the
family sulfonamide and trimethoprim in the family diaminopyrimidines.
Indications
Infections caused by sensitives germs, notably:
- Urogenitalparticularly prostatic infections.
- Bronchopulmonary acute infections.
- Infections of the middle ear.
- Digestive infections especially typhoid fever and sigmoiditis.
- Infections with pneumocystis carinii and toxoplasma gondii.
