RUGDAL is a proton-pump inhibitor.
Indications
- It reduces acid secretion in the stomach.
- Gastro-oesophageal reflux:
- Combined to appropriate antibio-therapy, eradication of Helicobacter pylori to cicatrize duodenal ulcer, and prevention of recurrence of gastro-duodenal ulcer in case of Helicobacter pylori infection.
- Patients in whom a NSAID’s treatment must be pursued:
- Zollinger-Ellison syndrome treatment.
