GLIPTAVIL is indicated in the adjuvant treatment with diet and physical activity in type 2 diabetic patients: -As monotherapy when diet and physical activity are not sufficient In double combination: - with metformin when diet , physical activity and metformin alone do not provide sufficient blood sugar control - with a sulfonylurea when diet, physical activity and sulfonylurea alone do not provide sufficient blood sugar control - with a thiazolidinedione when diet, physical activity and thiazolidinedione do not provide sufficient glycemic control In triple combination: - with metformin and a sulfonylurea when diet, physical activity and the double association of these two substances do not provide sufficient blood sugar control. GLIPTAVIL is also indicated in combination with insulin (with or without metfomin) when diet, physical activity and a stable dose of insulin do not provide sufficient glycemic control.
